Surah Maidah Ayat 5
سورة المائدة
اَلۡيَوۡمَ اُحِلَّ لَـكُمُ الطَّيِّبٰتُؕ وَطَعَامُ الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوۡا الۡكِتٰبَ حِلٌّ لَّـکُمۡ وَطَعَامُكُمۡ حِلٌّ لَّهُمۡ وَالۡمُحۡصَنٰتُ مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِ وَالۡمُحۡصَنٰتُ مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوۡا الۡـكِتٰبَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِكُمۡ اِذَاۤ اٰتَيۡتُمُوۡهُنَّ اُجُوۡرَهُنَّ مُحۡصِنِيۡنَ غَيۡرَ مُسٰفِحِيۡنَ وَلَا مُتَّخِذِىۡۤ اَخۡدَانٍؕ وَمَنۡ يَّكۡفُرۡ بِالۡاِيۡمَانِ فَقَدۡ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهٗ وَهُوَ فِىۡ الۡاٰخِرَةِ مِنَ الۡخٰسِرِيۡنَ ﴿۵﴾
Surah Maidah Ayat 5 With Urdu Translation
آج تمہارے لیے سب پاکیزہ چیزیں حلال کر دی گئیں اور اہل کتاب کا کھانا بھی تم کو حلال ہے اور تمہارا کھانا ان کو حلال ہے اور پاک دامن مومن عورتیں اور پاک دامن اہل کتاب عورتیں بھی (حلال ہیں) جبکہ ان کا مہر دے دو۔ اور ان سے عفت قائم رکھنی مقصود ہو نہ کھلی بدکاری کرنی اور نہ چھپی دوستی کرنی اور جو شخص ایمان سے منکر ہوا اس کے عمل ضائع ہو گئے اور وہ آخرت میں نقصان پانے والوں میں ہوگا ﴿۵﴾
Surah Maidah Ayat 5 With English Translation
This day are (all) good things made lawful for you. The food of those who have received the Scripture is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. And so are the virtuous women of the believers and the virtuous women of those who received the Scripture before you (lawful for you) when ye give them their marriage portions and live with them in honour, not in fornication, nor taking them as secret concubines. Whoso denieth the faith, his work is vain and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter.
