Surah Maidah Ayat 45
سورة المائدة
وَكَتَبۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ فِيۡهَاۤ اَنَّ النَّفۡسَ بِالنَّفۡسِۙ وَالۡعَيۡنَ بِالۡعَيۡنِ وَالۡاَنۡفَ بِالۡاَنۡفِ وَالۡاُذُنَ بِالۡاُذُنِ وَالسِّنَّ بِالسِّنِّۙ وَالۡجُرُوۡحَ قِصَاصٌؕ فَمَنۡ تَصَدَّقَ بِهٖ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَّهٗؕ وَمَنۡ لَّمۡ يَحۡكُمۡ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۴۵﴾
Surah Maidah Ayat 45 With Urdu Translation
اور ہم نے ان لوگوں کے لیے تورات میں یہ حکم لکھ دیا تھا کہ جان کے بدلے جان اور آنکھ کے بدلے آنکھ اور ناک کے بدلے ناک اور کان کے بدلے کان اور دانت کے بدلے دانت اور سب زخموں کا اسی طرح بدلہ ہے لیکن جو شخص بدلہ معاف کر دے وہ اس کے لیے کفارہ ہوگا اور جو خدا کے نازل فرمائے ہوئے احکام کے مطابق حکم نہ دے تو ایسے ہی لوگ بےانصاف ہیں ﴿۴۵﴾
Surah Maidah Ayat 45 With English Translation
And We prescribed for them therein: The life for the life, and the eye for the eye, and the nose for the nose, and the ear for the ear, and the tooth for the tooth, and for wounds retaliation. But whoso forgoeth it (in the way of charity) it shall be expiation for him. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed: such are wrong-doers.
